Day Three Night & Day Four End

Posted on the February 2nd, 2006 under Out and About by Mama Pasha

January 15, 2006. That night we went to Hanamasa Yakiniku restaurant. To Lollies, this is yet another entry about eating great food. So, enjoy your reading. Okay, back to dinner. This was a restaurant where they served raw beef, lamb, fish, seafood, vegetables, etc. You could pick as much as you like. You would have a stove and a pot filled with soup. You would then cook all that you have picked. Then, you MUST eat all that you have cooked. If you could not finish it, you would have to clean all your plates, cups, table and chairs and etc. With my Princess around, it would be impossible not finish our meal! I simply love that place. Whatever you cooked would always taste the same. No matter what! One more thing. They served tempura for dessert. Dont ask.

January 16, 2006. The last day. I didn’t want to wake up. To wake up meant to leave Jakarta and my Honeybunch. I requested to have lunch at the Nasi Padang Sederhana Restaurant. One of the best nasi padang around, to me. Just like the last time I was there, I got to eat the red fish head. Yummy! They called it kepala ikan kakap.

After lunch we went over to Diah’s house and watched the Flight Plan movie. That was the first time that we had ever watched a movie at home. Just the two of us. Awesome! “We should do this more often, sayang.”

By 4+ pm we left for the airport. It was raining and the road was congested. We got to the airport in the nick of time. I gave Diah a quick hug and peck and dashed to the check in counter almost leaving my pouch that kept my passport and ticket in the scanner. The last time I was late, I got the business class upgrade but that was on KLM. This time it was on AirAsia. Late or early, it was free seating all the way.

A few waves later, I entered the terminal. No matter how many times that I have done this, I still could overcome the feeling of missing my Princess. Anyway, the good news is, I will be going there again in February! Sayonara Sayang Aku!
