In fact, it is worse if they keep thinking of becoming a millionaire by scoring the first gold. They should be completely focused on the competition instead of daydreaming. If the 1 mil is offered hoping the athletes would perform at world standard, I am afraid it is not going to work. What I see is world records being smashed more frequently than ever.
