Second Chance to Tune Money
I have posted about my huge frustration with Tune Money here and that problem was not resolved shortly after that. May be it’s fated on just a mere coincidence, that post got the attention of Lankapo, who is a strong advocate of Tune Money and things started to get better from that point on.
He suggested me to post a complaint on Tune Money’s CEO personal blog and he also gave me the email address of the CEO in case things still does not move. Talk about a good connection that I can benefit from and not wasting anytime, I posted a complaint at that blog under a topic that is not at all relevant to the Tune debit card. I thought it would just be deleted and never be published but I was proven wrong. It was posted there!
So, I decided to wait for awhile and see how things would go from there. Nothing really happen but knowing that I have another bullet in my arsenal (the email address), I made another call to the Customer Service yesterday.
This time the person who picked up the call seemed to be more knowledgeable, professional and better train than the others that I had spoken to before. That was more like talking to a customer services representative compared to like talking to some jokers many times before.
I told him that the problem has been dragging too long and I am going to personally write to his CEO if this problem could not be resolved fast. There was a moment of silence when I mentioned about emailing the CEO and he promised that he would make sure that this problem would be escalated to the right person immediately.
It could be the complaint posted at the CEO’s blog. It could be about me shooting an email to the CEO or it could be another coincidence that the problem was about to be resolved but whatever the reason was, today I received 3 missed calls (I was not near the phone when the calls came in) from Tune Money and when I called them back, I was told that everything about my account has been resolved.
I just checked my balance online a few minutes ago and yes, everything is in order. At least for now until I try to actually use it. With that, I am giving Tune Money a second chance.
On the other hand, this is another proof about the power of blogging and that is not a waste of time as well as it is always good to know some “people” in our life.

lankapo, siap 3 kali miss call tu… selalunya tak nak call pun. Anyway, thanks again and ayam golek no problem… by the way, this tune card is for backup jer. my main card still PB Visa Electron. so far no problem with that card except have to remember to have balance more than RM 25 at all time.

lankapo, entah ler tp itu lah policy Public Bank… tp aku rasa sebab nak make sure orang bayar annual fee… tapi kalau dah guna more than certain amount (aku lupa berapa) annual fee waived… ada level2 dia….
