Going Down

klse

KLSE Composite Index closed below 1000 points yesterday. Good or bad? They said it’s bad. It looks bad and as far as I know, we do not want this to go down. We want petrol to go down further and we want consumer goods to go down as well but we definitely do not want our stock market to go down. That much I know.

The news lately talked a lot about the global financial crisis where some governments all over the world has started their bail out exercise, rescuing financial related companies from going down the drain. Whether we like it or not, we are feeling the heat over here as well.

Ironically, the US who once heavily criticized us when our government interfered to “rescue” some companies during the recent financial crisis are now doing exactly that. Now we know who the biggest hypocrite in the world is… And yet our economy is still dependent on the Dollar…

So, what’s your take on the global economy? What about our Malaysian economy? For those who have spent a lot during the recent Eid celebration, now the time has come to do some mathematics on your financial situation. However, if you want to remain ignorance, then don’t pick up that calculator. Ignorance is bliss!

As for me, Aidil Fitri is over and now to check on the spending. Unfortunately, there will always be the case on unexpected things that need to be attended to and in my case, RM 430.00 yesterday to replace the cooling coil for my car. I think I have already spent about RM 1000.00 just to fix the car recently but that has got to be done for a bit of comfort and safety.

So my cash has gone down in line with our stock market! That’s not good. Anyway, now that I have put this down over here, I feel much better.

Before I go further down and digress more, what’s your big spending during the recent holidays?

mmg petunjuk x memberangsangkan kalo Composite Index jatuh mencanak2.
Itu menunjukkan ekonomi dunia jatuh dan seterusnya ekonomi negara kita turut jatuh…

They say there will be a recession soon. But as far as bail out is concerned, it should work. Im still wondering, what is the reason behind recession if business is profitable? It’s not like we’re on WW3 or ran out of petrol.

My Gen2 broke down last month. I was quoted 10k to replace with the original engine or 9.5k to convert to Evo 7’s. I cant sell it, no one wants to buy a stagnant car. I never thought a car could weigh me down. What a bummer.

noktahhitam, something that I do not quite understand as well and somehow related to the greenbacks… Wow, 10K to repair your Gen2? What did you do? Raced on it? Why don’t you go for the older evo? They are much cheaper I heard…

lankapo, kesian ko… aku dulu bawah program KPP/TIEC II… merasa la gi Texas…

Mohamad, tu la pasal. dah kena batang hidung sendiri baru tau… Salam Aidilfitri juga!

cheryna, bukan senagaja tapi ada masalah logistic… orang ada lapan so have to wait for an MPV to be available… 3rd raya baru dapat…
