UniFi is here

Posted on the March 26th, 2010 under Daily Living by Papa Bear

Would it be just another hype? Could it change the broadband landscape in Malaysia? UniFi is the recently launched high speed broadband services (HSBB) and it is already making waves…

I sent them and email asking them about the service availability at 40100. Here is the reply:

Dear Bear,

We just checked your address against current availability, and as of today, your address IS NOT serviceable.

However, we are adding FDCs (Fibre Drop Cabinets) as fast as we can, concentrating on the SBJ, Bangsar, TTDI, and Shah Alam areas.

Please take the time to go to

http://www.tm.com.my/connecting-you/digital-lifestyle/hsbb/_layouts/TM/hsbb_form_new/HSBBInterest.aspx

register with us.

Please register as we will be using the registration list to call customers who can get the service as we add new FDCs. Feel free to call us in about a month and we will check for you again. Our goal is to produce better customer service than TM has had in the past. We want to win your confidence!

Thank you and have a nice day! J

Regards,

Shira

Sadly, 40100 is not ready for it yet. What a shame. I would be contacting them again next month!
