Lightning toasted Pasha’s PC as mentioned here in a previous post. Apak Cikidong came to the rescue by supplying a power supply unit that he had kept for something.. Must be something arr.. People do not simply keep power supply unit for nothing.. Thanks Apak for sending the unit all the way to our house even though all the while we only know each other on the blogosphere. Unfortunately, I was at work and only Mama Pasha got the chance to meet this kind hearted gentleman..
This is the power supply unit that we got from Apak Cikidong. The first thing that I did not expect was the number of wires and cables that the unit came with. It looked like it was going to be a daunting operation planned for the weekends..
So, weekends came and just now, after watching the Battle Los Angeles movie, I disconnected all the cables attached to Pasha’s PC and brought it down. It’s an antique Compaq unit with a Celeron CPU and very heavy for a PC. The good thing was that this PC did not require a screw driver to open. Just needed to lift up a latch and opened the cover.
Oh bumpers! Look at the power supply unit in Pasha’s PC. The shape is totally different and it’s somewhat just plugged in to the motherboard. Just stared at it for a few seconds and packed Apak’s unit back into the bag. The put the cover back on and told Mama Pasha that everything’s done..
Done packing.. Next mission. Bring the PC to a repair shop.. La la la la..
