beruang lagi banyak kursus on weekend.. jadi sebisa mungkin g cari kesibukan sendiri.. secara mobil ditinggal.. ehehhe kesempatan dong jalan2 berdua pasha.. alhamdulillah si pasha udah bisa anteng duduk manis dibangku sebelah klu mamanya lagi nyupir…

Pasha 31 months..

udah gede ya anak g.. behave dikit laaa..
berat badan pasha gak naik2 niiiiiih… bingung g.. tapi gak keliatan kurus2 amat jg.. buang air nya jg lancar.. makan jg udah pinter sekarang.. klo laper dgn sendirinya dia akan request nasi atau roti.. udah stop breastfeed.. sukses…
klo pen nyusu dia udah bisa bilang minta cucu botol mama… cucu botol chocolate.. eheheheh.. udah panjang conversationnya.. lucu kadang2 masih ada jg yg gak jelas.. specially klo dia n gantuk… cranky banget..
another things is.. dia suka males bilang mo pipis.. aduuuhh.. klo g gak jaga time pipis dia pasti deh ngompol duluaaaaaan aaarrrggghhh… habis deh g.. asik2 laundry seprei ama bedcover aja yg dipipidin pasha na… hadeeehh…
pasha pup masih 2-3hr sekali… udah bisa buang air di toilet.. selama proses klo uda sakit banget minta peluk.. qeqqe… paling kasian klo udah sembelit.. but begitu udah keluar bisa langsung cekikikan.. padahal tadinya nangis kejerrrr banget…
pasha suka males bobo siang padahal udah ngantuk2 gitu.. dipaksain jg ama dia maen.. tapi enak klo gini bobonya jadi cepet.. jam 8/9 udah bobo.. masih suka bangun pagi buta… biasalah minta susu apa lagi.. jadi tiap malem g musti siapin tuh botol susu, termos air panas, susu bubuk dan milo bubuknya… gaya sekarang maunya klo bikin susu kaleng nya harus dia yg buka.. dan pengennya dia yg masukin milonya ke botol sendiri .. lhaaa tumpah2 yg ada … gak g kasi laaaa..
sama juga klo bikin roti coklat.. maunya dia yg spread d nutella himself.. gaya dah..

sempet playdate ama isabelle and adam awal bulan.. berenang bareng judulnya.. tp yang ada pasha bangunnya kesiangan ehhehe.. gpp deh yg penting enjoy maen aer ya adam..

bulan ini penuh dgn self learning in my culinary history.. ehhehe.. gimana nggak.. tiap minggu bikin kueh.. yg anek2 pulak pesenannya..

trus ditutup dengan lebaran haji di rumah mertua.. dimana pasha lumayan lama spent time dengan sepupu2nya.. oo iya b4 lebaran haji mertua sama ipar sempet kerumah jg for weekend.. rumah jadi meriah banget.. and pasha seneng dapet temen maen..

semalem kita dinner keluar gak jauh sih kebawah doang.. japs resto di lower ground-nya plaza shah alam.. tempatnya dingin banget… dan seperti yg udah udah pasha udah gak mau lagi duduk dibaby chair.. dia preffer duduk sendiri di kursi normal the one kayak papa mamanya duduk.. karna belom nyampe ke meja dia senengan berdiri.. g tempatin membelakangi kaca.. while waiting.. udah deh smua brosur and chopstick apapun yg dateng duluan dia buat maenan.. gak lama makanan yg dipesen dateng.. asik lah kita smua makan.. sambil nyuapin pasha tentunya.. gak ngeh klo dia tadinya di ribut banget tang ting tung sana kemari jadi bolak balik nghadep ke kaca dibelakangnya.. tebak ngapain dia coba…

gak taunya dia udah menggambar bebas aja di kaca pake mayones yg bapaknya dapet di set makannya.. ahhahahah.. muka waiter2 disitu udah pada gemes aja ama pasha.. aduuuuhhh.. malu banget g.. and end up with crying.. abis dicubit mama (karna dia ngebales shouting pas ditegor) baru dia stop… ngenes g… sampe kapan harus begini.. emang makan dirumah lebih aman kayaknya gak perlu perang cubit ma pasha.. gemeeeeeeeeeeeeesss… iseng2 browsing ke babycenter.com akhirnya ngeh kesalahan g dimana..

jadi intinya.. g harus bawa maenan untuk dia selama nunggu makanan yg dipesen dateng.. karna pasha blm bisa makan sendiri dgn rapi.. mending dipangku aja ama mama and disuapin… klo udah kelar mama bisa mam dgn pasha diawasin papa sambil dikasih aktivitas seperti main kreta apinya ato dibawain buku gambar ama crayon 1… jd perhatiannya teralih.. duuuuhh.. napa gak kemaren2 g baca site ini… *sigh… how abt u ibu2??

Tweaking marathon

I had just finished renovating our home at Blogger and not long after that we got our confirmation on our new address at the new Efx2. So, last night I went over to the new place to start another godek godek (tweaking) exercise.

I had used WordPress before and before I even start, I had already imagine the limitations that I am going to bump into. Unlike Blogger that have lots of flexibilities, WordPress is somewhat rigid and only allow some standard customizations unless you host it on your own domain.

I really thought that the WordPress MU where the new Efx2 is built on would be similar to the normal WordPress but I was wrong. I am not sure about other things that are not there but one of the obvious one is the less number of templates to choose from. Geram aku!

Through out the night and early morning, I tried on all the templates and I could not find any that I really like. I found a few that allow me to customize the header but then I would have problem when I tried to copy our Blogger postings there. After going through the lot I have to settled for one that you can see at BBDP. This is the most flexible template where I can easily copy our Blogger entries to.

On the other hand, Diah, loves to put multi color fonts in her posts and, guess what? The so called “rich text editor” at the new Efx2 does not even support colored fonts. You can change the color of your fonts manually but as soon as you save it, the CSS would overwrite them.

“Sebel banget!“, said Diah.

Anyway, for the sake of the community spirit, we would be both at Efx2 and here and wish that the brilliant community leaders together with Keith would come up with all the widgets, gadgets, and whatever stuffs that would make the place unique and fun again. Just like the good old time…

I really missed the recent visitors feature in the old Efx2. That is one cool piece of thing that most people took for granted.

Can we have that back?

Buka Puasa di Sari Ratu Mid Valley

Last Weekend we went to Mid Valley for Vincci Shopping and some grocery shopping @ carrefour there.. and we went straight for nasi padang @food junction 03th fl.. when the time for iftar came… If u see my pic and Pasha you’ll found that Nasi Padang sign board above our heads..

For those who follow our blog must know that we’re crazy abt nasi padang… ehehe it’s simply delicious.. so many variety of food that u can choose… for me, i like the chick bbq d most! tried to cook myself some of d dishes… and d result was not quite d same as when we ate at d rest… kena belajar lagi.. yang iya nya Diah malas nak masak tuuu… Any way i still like to keep all d recipes …

So here is d recipes that i found on d net…

1. AYAM BAKAR PADANG
BAHAN:
1 ekor ayam, belah jangan sampai putus(whole chicken)
1 sendok teh air jeruk nipis(
1 sendok teh garam
2 cm kayu manis
2 buah cengkih
2 batang serai, memarkan
5 lembar daun jeruk
500 santan encer
200 cc santan kental
3 sendok makan minyak untuk menumis
BUMBU HALUS:
8 butir bawang merah
5 siung bawang putih
4 buah cabai merah
1/2 sendok makan ketumbar
1/2 sendok teh merica
3 butir kemiri
2 cm kunyit
2 cm jahe, iris
1/4 sendok teh jintan
garam secukupnya

CARA MEMBUAT:
1. Panaskan minyak, tumis bumbu halus hingga harum, masukkan kayu manis, serai, daun jeruk, dan cengkih.
2. Masukkan ayam dan santan encer, masak hingga ayam matang dan santan terserap. Tambahkan dengan santan kental dan masak hingga kuah agak mengering.
3. Panggang ayam hingga kecokelatan, angkat.
4. Sajikan ayam dalam pinggan, taburi dengan bawang goreng.
Untuk: 8 orang

2. Sambal Goreng Udang Petai
Bahan :
* 100 gr udang buang kulitnya
* 10 biji mata Pete iris
* 1 ruas lengkuas memarkan
* 1 batang sereh memarkan
* 2 lbr daun jeruk
* 250 ml santan
* Garam secukupnya
* Penyedap secukupnya
* Gula secukupnya
Bumbu Halus :
* 10 cabe merah keriting
* 1 buah tomat cincang
* 3 siung bawang putih
* 1 ruas jahe cincang
Cara Mengolahnya :
* Goreng udang sampai setengah matang, lalu tiriskan
* Siapkan wajan dan panaskan minyak, lalu tumis bumbu halus dan sisa bahan (lengkuas, sereh, daun jeruk, garam, gula dan penyedap) sampai harum.
* Masukan udang dan irisan pete ke dalam bumbu yang sudah matang, lalu masukan santan aduk jangan sampai santan pecah. Setelah menyusut santannya, Siap untuk dihidangkan.

3. Gulai Ikan & Telur
Bahan:
* 500 gr ikan tongkol/kembung/kakap atau 5 butir telur rebus
* 1 liter santan dari 1 butir kelapa
* 1 batang serai, dimemarkan
* 25 gr daun kemangi
* 3 lembar daun mangkokan, iris kasar
* 2 buah bunga kecombrang, belah menjadi 2-4 (kalau ada)
* 1-2 potong asam gelugur/1-2 sdm air
* asam
* garam menurut selera
Bumbu yang dihaluskan:
* 75-100 gr cabai merah
* 6 buah bawang merah
* 2 sdt kunyit, dicincang
* 2 sdt jahe, dicincang
* ½ sdm lengkuas
Cara Membuat:
* Bersihkan sisik ikan/kikis bagian kulit ikan sampai bersih, buang sirip, insang. Potong menjadi 2-3 tergantung dari besarnya ikan. Cuci dan tiriskan.
* Didihkan santan, bumbu halus, serai, bunga kecombrang, daun mangkokan, asam gelugur, dan garam dalam panci di atas api sedang.
* Masukkan ikan dan daun kemangi, masak sampai seluruhnya matang sambil sekali-sekali diaduk supaya santan tidak pecah. Siap dihidangkan.
Catatan: selain ikan, bisa juga dipergunakan ikan/cumi-cumi. Bila memakai cumi, sesudah cumi dipotong, campur dengan bumbu dan serai, letakkan di penggorengan, jerangkan di atas penggorengan, tutup, sampai air cumi habis. Baru masukkan bahan lainnya, beri petai utuh yang sudah dikupas (kalau suka).
Untuk 3-4 orang.

4. SAMBAL CABAI HIJAU PADANG
Ingredients:
100 g cabai hijau besar, buang tangkainya
5 butir bawang merah
1 sdt garam
1 sdm air jeruk nipis
2 sdm minyak sayur
3 buah tomat hijau, iris tipis
1/2 sdt gula pasir
50 g teri jengki/teri tawar, goreng
Directions:
* Kukus cabai hijau hingga lunak. Angkat.
* Tumbuk kasar-kasar cabai hijau bersama bawang merah, dan garam.
* Perciki air jeruk nipis, aduk rata.
* Panaskan minyak, tumis cabai hijau tumbuk, aduk hingga harum.
* Masukkan tomat hijau dan gula pasir, aduk rata. Angkat.
* Masukkan teri , aduk rata.
* Sajikan.

5. Tumis Kacang Panjang
Bahan (untuk 6 orang)
* 3 siung bawang putih, memarkan
* 2 cm jahe, memarkan
* 2 buah cabai merah, haluskan
* 50 gram bawang bombay, iris kasar
* 150 gram daging sapi, cincang
* 30 buah kacang panjang, potong ukuran 3 cm
* 1 sendok teh garam
* 1/2 sendok teh merica bubuk
* 250 cc air
* 1 sendok teh minyak wijen
* 1 sendok teh tepung maizena
* 100 gram kacang mete
* 2 sendok makan minyak
Cara Membuat:
1. Panaskan minyak, lalu masukkan bawang putih, jahe, cabai merah, dan bawang bombay, tumis hingga harum
2. Masukkan daging sapi, aduk rata, masak hingga berubah warna, lalu tambahkan kacang panjang, aduk rata, masak hingga agak layu.
3. Masukkan garam, merica bubuk, dan minyak wijen, aduk rata, lalu tambahkan air yang telah dicampur dengan tepung maizena, aduk rata, masak hingga semuanya matang, angkat, taburi dengan kacang mete di atasnya

Where do you want to go?

When the original efx2 officially fell to the ground, members were scattered all over the blog world and slowly one by one started to emerge from the ruins and build a new home some place, somewhere.

Recently, the brand new efx2 has come to life and the once close knitted efx2 community has begun its rebuilding phase. I could see more and more members have started to build their new home at that new world and some are even ready to welcome guests to their homes. Some circles of friends built during the efx2 era are now being re-established. It is really interesting to see all of these things taking shapes and pieces coming together within a short span of time.

However, some questions remain. Do you want to have a single home or another one for backup? Do you want to join the new efx2 or remain where you are? If you are going to update more than one place, which one would be the main?

While waiting for the new efx2, new homes were built on Blogger, WordPress, and may be some other worlds out there. Some actually moved back to the homes that they left behind when efx2 was in its heyday and started to renovate them in order to be as comfortable as it was in efx2. It goes to show that efx2 was really a special place to all who have called it home.

We are one of those “homeless” who took refuge at Blogger and have done a lot to make this place a home. May be we would be a few that would make this home as our main home while still taking a space at the new efx2 for the sake of the community. Within our circle of friends, Elisa and Mamarawks for example, have created their new places at efx2blogs.com and looks like they are updating both. These women have lots of stamina! There are some that have gone ahead with their wordpress.com homes such as, Oflionandbear and Rotidua.

As for us. we have asked for our space and waiting for the confirmation. Chances are, we would be posting at both sites. However, I, the Bear, personally prefer Blogger to WordPress due to the fact that Blogger allows customizations on the template and therefore, many things can be added easily. Whereas, at WordPress, customization is limited and it is quite difficult even to have a simple thing such as a shoutbox.

May be one day, Keith, the King of efx2 would come up with many of the luxuries that we used to have at the old place. This guy is really awesome for putting lots of personal efforts to ensure that the efx2 community remains alive! We shall wait and see what he would come up with in the future.

Anyway, wherever you are does not really matter. What matters is that we would all homes to be at and for friends to come around for a cup of cyber-tea and cyber-biscuits. Let us all keep in touch and have a great blogging time together!

P/s:
1. Does anybody know where moshimoshi is? Is he still lost in space? 2. This entry was a result of too much food after iftar. So please ignore anything that doesn’t make sense.

It's Saturday

Saturday 2:00 pm

We went to bed very early last night and as a result Mama, Papa and I woke up at 3:00 am this morning and due to that, I was the last one to wake up. It is not easy to be the only baby in the house since I have to accompany them all the time including the eating-in-the-very-early-morning session that is called sahur so that they can fast better during the day. Ngantuk arr…

The other reason that I took an extra sleeping time is due to the fact that Mama and Papa has planned some outing for today. We would be going to Mid Valley to buy some groceries as well as one of my most important accessories, the diapers.

Apart from that. I am looking forward to the time when Mama would be busy looking for Vinnci shoes. That would be the time where Papa would be pushing me all around the mall in my stroller. That is one activity that I extremely enjoy and furthermore, Mama said that Papa needs the exercise. So, I am helping Papa and having a bundle of fun at the same time. Would not that be great! Anyway, Papa is the best stroller driver around!

That’s all for now since I need to go for a shower in my yellow ducky tub that makes the “quack quack” sounds that Mama loves so much. See you later.

Lagu Hujan

I simply love that song. It is the song Lagu Hujan from the movie Mukhsin. Mukhsin is a Malaysian Drama movie about children learning about love and friendship. During the school holiday, in the village Orked, ten years old meet Mukhsin who is two years older than her. They soon become best friends, play together and even dress alike. Mukhsin likes Orked very much and Mukhsin feels that he falls in love with Orked, but a misunderstanding between them changed everything.

The movie won two awards at the Berlin Film Fest. Competing in the Generation section, dedicated to films about young people, Mukhsin was awarded the Grand Prix by the Kinderfilmfest International Jury and a Generation K-Plus Crystal Bear Special Mention.

I have watched that movie and apart from the above song, the parts I like most are when Orked throws a big bully’s bag out of the school bus and when her mother, Mak Inom, punishes her for being naughty.

It is a great movie and it’s very entertaining. My Honeybunch also had a good laugh watching it.

- Mulai dapat mengenal orang, terutama ayah & ibunya
- Mulai dapat tengkurap
- Suka menghisap jari telunjuk
- Berusaha memasukkan benda kedalam mulut
- Melonjak-lonjak bila digendong atau dipangku
- Dapat merubah posisi tidur
- Megangin kedua kaki dgn tangannya
- Minum dr gelas dipegangin mama…
- Ikutan mama ngeblog sambil pencet2 tuts keyboard…
- Rebutan remote astro sama mama..

Tweaking the blog

I have been tweaking this new blog of ours for the past few days and I think I have got everything that I want up there, for now. If I found new things along the way, then they will be put up here. But for now, that’s it! Penat woi!

At the same time, I have been blog-hopping looking for “refugees”, referring to Elisa’s word describing bloggers that came from the defunct efx2, here and have found a few and linked them up. If your link is not there, let me know and I will put it up.

Anyway, back to the new home. I have got the bear template from Final Sense. Just lucky to find one with bears in it… Bukan senang nak dapat tu.

Put up the shout box from Cbox that has been working well so far. This is a must have so that friends and visitors can leave their marks behind. You know, similar to how some cats love to leave their pee behind…

Built a bulletin board using some HTML codes so that we could remember certain things that we need to do on certain days. It serves as a good reminder since we would be at this blog almost all the time that we are online.

Put up the links to friends using the service from Blogrolling but somehow could not get it to show updated blogs. Tension betul aku! So if there is any expert out there, please give me a hand ya.

Then I went on to add the Recent Comments a.k.a Recent Growls List widget obtained from Blogger Templates so that I know which entry that have been commented on. Since the alert goes to my Honeybunch Diah’s mailbox, it would be inconvenient for me to keep on checking her mail so with this, problem is solved.

Then there are those standard stuffs such as, links list, labels and archive which, has become part and parcel of a blog and those things come standard here.

I have also put up a visitor tracker from eXTReMe Tracking so that we would know where our visitors come from just for the fun of it. At the same time I have added a simple counter from Tiny Counter to track the number of knocks on our door.
