Happy Birthday Pasha

Pasha turns 3 today! It was just passed midnight and Pasha was still wide awake watching his favorite “bedtime” videos… I was already enjoying my trip to the La-La Land when I heard…  “Happy Birthday Pasha!” from MamaPasha…

It was the moment that Pasha had been waiting for since yesterday… Well, that yesterday was only a few hours ago… But, I guess, for a 3 year old, few hours could feel like a few days… The Thomas cake was specially baked by none other than the owner of d Cuppies herself, MamaPasha. The moment that Pasha had been wanting the most was the blowing of the candle and finally. that morning, he did it… Dah besar anak ku…

Next came the time to open the presents. MamaPasha bought the three most wanted Chuggington characters for him. They’re Wilson, Brewster and Koko. I said most wanted since it would be extremely difficult to but them at any toy store in KL. Luckily MamaPasha managed to get all three just in the nick of time…

Anyway, Pasha took Koko first and did not know that Wilson and Brewster would be the surprised for his Birthday. In short, he was elated to find them that morning… So, now he has all three of them… Ans Koko is still his favorite engine.

As for PapaBear, I was still half asleep at that time but waking up at that moment was priceless…

For Pasha, we would be having the birthday party in Jakarta tomorrow and we are sure that he would enjoying another round of candle blowing time soon!

Happy Birthday my son! May you grow to be a great person! Amiin…

We were invited to Iffat’s birthday party by Inar and Azhir. We also supplied one of the birthday cakes for the event. Our Toy Story theme cake was a big hit with the kids… Mama Pasha was elated! Jarang ni supplier dijemput hadir… haha… Thanks ya!

The party was a big success. The party room at Pizza Hut TTDI was an excellent choice. Lots of space for kids and adults to run around.

We did not really know anybody accept for the hosts. We believe, based on the looks and styles, almost or might be all of them were related to each other. However, they were really friendly and nice folks and we did not feel out of place at all. Semua orang happy happy jer!

The cake cutting ceremony was a blast! While Iffat was oblivious, the parents were having a field day! There were ample food and drinks to go around and we were pretty sure that nobody left the party with any room in their tummies for any other food. At least for the next few hours or so… Kenyang beb!

As for Pasha, he had a great time with all the balloons. Forget about other kids, toys, food, etc etc etc. He was in his own world with lots of balloons. Frankly, I have never been to a birthday party with so many balloons to play and pop to my heart’s contents… Jadi bebudak kejap aku petang tuh…

All in all, it was one of the best birthday part y that we had ever attended. Thanks to Inar, Azhir and families for having us there. Not to mention that we even won the last lucky draw on that day!

Akung is 62

The plan: Diah would bake a cake and  at 00:01 hours, we would be having a family birthday candle blowing session in the comfort of Papa Diah’s bedroom in Dumai… Plan tinggal plan…

The actual: Diah managed to bake a delicious cheese cake, decorated it in our Rauda hotel room in Pekan Baru. At 00:01 hours we sneaked into Papa Diah’s room with the cake and “Selamat Ultah Akung!!!” “Happy Birthday Akung!!!”

It was Akung’s 62nd birthday. The cake was his but the candles belonged to Pasha. He must be the one blowing the candle and nobody else.

Later that morning we went out for breakfast. Pasha was somewhat grumpy that morning. He did not want to go for breakfast. In Fact he did not want to go anywhere as he was looking for his aunties instead and he missed home in Dumai.

“Ini bukan umah kita…“, cried Pasha earlier that night at Rauda…

Luckily after breakfast, I managed to buy him a Playhouse Disney magazine from a magazine kiosk on the other end of the restaurant’s entrance. Should have checked that place out first and we could be having a peaceful breakfast… Marah betul Pasha pagi tuh…

Anyway, may all Akung’s wishes come true! Amiin…
